Bruno Cote "Vallee de la Riviere du Gouffre" Original Painting
Bruno Cote was born in 1940 in the City of Quebec, Canada.
Cote originally joined the family publicity business in 1957 blossoming due to his natural enthusiasm and desire to succeed. He developed multiple skillsets within the company from lettering to artistic directorship whilst strengthening his personal discipline and tenacity. This career choice however held limited long term interest for Cote whose fascination with the great outdoors drew him to move towards painting in his mid-20s and ultimately in 1978 he became a full time artist.
Baie-Saint Paul became the family's residence and Charlevoix his inspirational core. Drawn by the different colour palettes offered by different Canadian provinces Cote began a series of many painting expeditions from West to East.
Cote became most well known for his Quebec landscapes and now his work hangs in corporate and government collections from Vancouver to Newfoundland making him one of the most quinessential Canadian artists of our time.
